I picked this sentence because why doesn't he want to be the next Santa. I think why he does not want to be Santa is because he might have other plans in life than being Santa.

"She spends some of the time with Edward at the store, so we got a little relief."
I picked this sentence because why would they go to the store to get relief. I think that being at the store is not really fun, and getting relief is only good when you don't have money or you not have enough. I think that what they do is wrong.

I picked this sentence because what do they mean by "We had another system." What I think this sentence means is that the other system was better, and this system might be much older and it might not work as well as the one that they had before.

1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two or more?
The problems or conflicts in chapter one are that the village people were hunger and there was not food. The other conflict was that the little wolf did not wanted to eat food that Tao was giving him.
2. Predict the resolution of each conflict.
My first predict is that, the village people would not find food because if people keep on forgetting thing like Tao then may-be they will die. My other predict id that may-be the little wolf will die because if it doesn't hunt it could starve.

1. What two important events happen in this chapter?
The two important events that happens in chapter two is when Tao is dreaming of painting in a cave on a wall and in his dreams he drew a deer and the antlers.(painting is taboo) The other important event is when he was swimming along the bottom of a stream, he was trying to catch a lazy suckerfish, so he could eat.

1. What do Tao and Ram learn to do together?
Tao and Ram learned to hunt together.
2. What decision does Tao tell Volt?
The decision that Tao told Volt was that he was going to hunt with the wolf dog and Volt said that wolf dog are evil.
3.Look at Tao's decisions and actions from Volt's perspective. Pretend you are Volt. Write a first person paragraph explaining how you feel.
I feel that Volt was mean because if I was him I will be thanking Tao for the rabbits he brought for the people. I would have let him hunt with the wolf dog because the people and I will have food for the the rest of the season. I would have let Tao because when there is food up on a tree's burch (like the eggs on the burch) he can get it. He will also help by getting food from rivers and streams. That is what I would do if I was Volt.

1. An important theme in this novel is that people should follow their dreams and do what they believe is right, even if they don't follow their society's expected ways.The author examines this theme in a stone age setting. Imagine a similar situation today.
What situation did you imagine? In the situation you imagined, should the person follow his or her dreams or should they follow society's rules? Give your opinion.
The image that I situation is when a boy wants to became a professional soccer player, but he can't because he does not have the money to go to England and because his father does not let him play. In my opinion I think he should follow his dream because he really loves to play soccer and he is doing it for his own good, then yes, I do think he should follow his dream.

The Mauryan Empire was an empire in ancient India. The Mauryan Empire was a one of the largest and most powerful empire of ancient India. The Mauryan Empire had its own emperors, languages, government, and its own religions.
The founder of The Mauryan Empire was emperor, Chandragupta Maurya. Chandragupta was the first empire of The Mauryan Empire. Chandragupta was emperor from 320 through 301 BCE.
The time The Mauryan Empire was found in the 320 BCE. The empire existed from 320 through 185 BCE. The capital city of The Mauryan Empire was the city of Pataliputra. The city of Pataliputra was once located near the modern day city of Patna. The Mauryan Empire was the greatest empire to rule India.
All the emperor of the Mauryan Empire is seven in total. The entire emperors are Chandragupta, Bindusara, Ashoka, Kunala, Salisuka, Devarman, Satadhanvan, and Brhandratha. The last emperor of The Mauryan Empire was Brhandratha.
The emperors of The Mauryan Empire at one time they did not ruled. Emperor Chandragupta ruled from 320 through 301 BCE. Bindusara ruled from 301 through 269 BCE. Ashoka was emperor from 269 through 232 BCE. The last emperor, Brhadratha ruled from 197 through 185 BCE.
The government that The Mauryan Empire had was Divine Right of Kings. This government is a European political. The government comes from the Romans. The Divine Rights of Kings states that any person who attempts acts against the will of God will be damnation. The languages the people spoke were Sanskrit, Pail, Prakrit, Greek, and Aramaic. These are all of the languages people spoke in The Mauryan Empire in ancient India.
Chandragupta Maurya an emperor of The Mauryan Empire. Chandragupta created the government and the laws. Chandragupta also embraces the religion for the empire. The religion he embraces is Jainisum.
King Ashoka was the third emperor of The Mauryan Empire. King Ashoka is the grandson of emperor Chandragupta Maurya. King Ashoka also embraces the religion for the empire. The religion he embraces is Buddhism.
